Coinkite Satscard
An Opendime-style reusable NFC bearer card — tap to check, slide to reveal.
Overview
The Coinkite Satscard is a bearer Bitcoin card in the spirit of Opendime, but reusable and tappable. It's a payment-card-sized device that holds Bitcoin keys generated on the card itself; you tap it to a phone over NFC to check its status, and when you want to claim the funds you slide a tab to reveal the private key. Uniquely, a single Satscard has multiple "slots," so after you use one address you can move on to a fresh one — making it a reusable bearer card rather than a one-shot stick.
The appeal is convenience and form factor: it slips into a wallet, taps like a contactless card, and at around $15 it's an inexpensive, fun way to hold or hand over small amounts of Bitcoin. The reusable slots make it more flexible than a single Opendime. The caveats are the usual bearer-instrument ones: whoever holds the card controls its current funds, revealing a slot's key exposes it, and you should treat it as cash for modest amounts.
Buy it if you want a slim, reusable, tap-to-check bearer card for small balances, gifts or novelty. For serious savings, use a hardware wallet where you control the seed.

Coinkite Satscard: frequently asked questions
How is it different from an Opendime?
The Satscard is reusable via multiple slots and is tapped over NFC, whereas an Opendime is a single-use USB stick you physically pop.
Do I need an app?
You interact with it by tapping to a compatible NFC phone app to view status and, when ready, to help sweep a revealed slot.
Is it safe for big amounts?
It's designed as a bearer card for small, cash-like balances. For meaningful savings, use a hardware wallet where you hold the seed.
Who controls the coins?
Whoever physically holds the card controls its current active funds — like cash — until a slot's key is revealed and swept.
