Dear former Nuri customers, on 18/12/2022, Nuri closed down and discontinued the entire service. As you know, we unfortunately had to terminate your account and all additional contracts. With this, direct support from Nuri has also ended. In case you couldn’t withdraw your funds in time or have any other questions, you can find all relevant contact points here.
Your Nuri bank account was managed by our banking partner Solaris.
In case you didn’t withdraw your Euro funds in time, you can submit a withdrawal request to Solaris here.
Your Nuri Wallets were managed by our custodial wallet partner Solaris Digital Assets.
If you had a remaining bitcoin or ether balance in your Wallets upon the closure, you can submit a withdrawal request to Solaris here.
Heads up: This only applies to your Nuri Wallets, not your Nuri Vaults.
In case you’ve still got funds left in your Nuri Vaults, you can recover them with just your keys and an external crypto wallet.
Bitcoin Vault
To restore the funds in your Bitcoin Vault, you’ll need your main, backup, and reference key. The main and backup key are the ones you saw once and wrote down upon the Vault opening, whereas the reference key was sent to you via email. With these keys, you can recover your bitcoin following this detailed step-by-guide.
For your Ethereum Vault recovery, all you need to do is type in your seed phrase into another Ethereum wallet and you’re good to go. The seed phrase, sometimes also known as recovery key, was displayed once when you opened your Vault. Upon our recommendation, you wrote it down on paper and stored it safely.
Please note: With your Nuri Vaults being self-custody crypto wallets, you are the sole keyholder. This means only you can access, move, or recover the funds in them. Neither Nuri nor any of our partners can or could see or share your keys or seed phrases. We strongly recommend to always keep your keys in a safe place and never share them with another person.
Your Nuri Pots were managed by Bankhaus von der Heydt as a financial commissioner and crypto custodian. Before Nuri’s closure, all your remaining Nuri Pots investments were automatically sold and credited to your Nuri bank account.

In case your Nuri Pots investments were not credited to your bank account or you have any other questions, please contact Bankhaus von der Heydt via email to nuriinsolvenz@1754.de.
Your Nuri Savings Plans were an auto-buy feature for bitcoin and ether. All Savings Plans investments were credited directly to your Nuri Wallets. Therefore, you don’t need to claim the balance from your Savings Plan individually.
If you still had a remaining balance in your Wallets left, you can submit a withdrawal request to Solaris here.
Your Bitcoin Interest Account is subject to a separate contract with separate terms and conditions by Celsius Network LLC. When Celsius Network filed for voluntary petitions for reorganisation under Chapter 11 of the U.S. Bankruptcy Code, Stretto was appointed as the claims and noticing agent.
As of 18/22/12, Stretto has filed claims for all creditors included in this list. To make sure this covers your claim as well as to receive further updates, simply go to Stretto, type in the email address of your Nuri former account under Celsius Email Address, and click Submit.
If all your data is listed correctly, according to the information available to us, you don’t need to make a claim independently.
In case your information is incorrect or not included in this list, you may file a claim on your own upon approval of the Bankruptcy Court.
Please note that Nuri is not involved in this process. It’s exclusively your obligation to ensure your claim is included in Stretto’s filing.
A final account statement for the month of December 2022 was sent to you via email shortly after the closure.
You can request an account statement for a specific date range by contacting our banking partner Solaris. Please choose Nuri Insolvency, state your full name and email address as registered at Nuri, and specify the beginning and end date for the statement(s) you need.
<p>Serving as additional documentation for you, we’ve compiled a full list of all your bank account transactions with Nuri, including the buying of cryptocurrencies. You’ve received this list via email shortly after the completion of the closure. </p>
Unfortunately, we can not provide you with a CryptoTax report for 2022. Reports for the previous years can not be generated retroactively.
To claim remaining balances left in your Nuri bank account or Wallets, please submit a withdrawal request to Solaris here .
